XS-211 Water Brake- up to 1600 HP

Recommended for high output gasoline and diesel engines, the XS-211 is

rated at 1600HP and speeds up to 9000 RPM. The dual rotor absorption

brake design offers unparalleled torque capacity at low rpms.

The XS-211 water brake is built with precision machined components,

The single rotor version of the XS-211, the XS-111 is rated

at 800HP and speeds up to 9000 RPM.

The single rotor XS-111 features the same durabl

Universal Engine Test Stand

 

Stuska's universal test stand provides a durable, convenient test stand at an affordable price. Available with an

XS-111  or XS-211 water brake, the Universal Test Stand can be supplied with numerous accessories to fit almost any application.

 

The Universal Test Stand is also available as a vertical test stand for outboard power heads.

Includes: all installed dynamometer components and a welded engine frame with insulator leveling pads.

 

Optional Equipment:

Data acquisition, load control, and a wide variety of engine mounts and adaptor plates result in a seemingly endless variety of testing applications.

PowerPro Data Acquisition and Control

 

 

Stuska offers outstanding data acquisition systems for engine dynamometers, including basic instrumentation and controls and specially designed desktop PC systems and interfaces. All of our data acquisition and control systems are Windows based, providing a comprehensive, easy to use system in a familiar environment.

 

The powerful PowerPro Commander software transforms a Windows-based PC into a powerful engine development and qualification tool!

 

 

The system comes complete with the Sensor Interface Device (SID) a computer, monitor, keyboard, mouse, and color printer.  The SID allows a series of high and low temperature, fuel flow and pressure sensors, as well as general purpose auxiliary and engine torque and RPM inputs to be collected and transmitted to the PowerPro Commander computer.

The Commander displays data via an on-screen, fully customizable visual dashboard. View live engine and dynamometer data while  it is automatically collected for the post-test review. Set high and low alarm limits, making it obvious when a sensor exceeds normal operating range. Color coded gauges indicate alarm conditions, protecting sensitive equipment. Steady state test information is automatically recorded at user-defined intervals, or on demand. Sweep test information is automatically recorded between a starting rpm and an ending rpm.

Dynamometer testing has never been easier, due to Stuska's new Automatic Load Control for the Stuska Water Brake dynamometer.

 

 

The LC system allows even inexperienced users to perform smooth, repeatable tests while maintaining a natural sweep of the engine.  The system uses feedback from the engine and dynamometer to automatically maintain desired load points and sweep rates.  In addition, users can sweep up or down at a wide range of rates.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The QuikStik LC is now a standard feature of our popular TrackMaster dynamometer system, and can be purchased as an upgrade for existing TrackMaster owners.

Engine Cooling Column

 

 

Available in both standard and pressurized versions, cooling columns are used to regulate the flow of fresh water to maintain the desired engine water temperature during testing.

 

Engine Docking Cart and Adapters

 

Engine carts are designed for quick and accurate positioning of an engine to the dynamometer. Stuska offers a variety of custom-built flywheel, crankshaft, and bell housing adapters to connect your engine to the dynamometer.
